Description
14" (36 cm.) Paper-mache shoulder head,blue glass enamel inset
eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed mouth with outlined
lips,slit-inserted brunette hair in elaborate coiffure,firmly
structured lady-shaped torso and cone-shaped skirt which unhinges
at center front to reveal a hidden surprise: a miniature fitted
kitchen with lithographed tile paper walls and floors,and having
fitted shelves and table which are fitted with an abundance of
tinware plates,pots,and utensils. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: very rare novelty doll
with original fitted contents and original costume.
