12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with sculpted and painted
facial features and hair,cloth body,wooden hands. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Chinese,Door of Hope,circa 1920s.
Value Points: wearing traditional wedding costumes,the bride has
rare rounded face with two coiled braids at the back of head
decorated with red petal flowers; the groom has side-parted hair
with fine feathering around the forehead.
