Description
19" (48 cm.) Sculpted earthenware shoulder head with brown sculpted
hair in long loosely flowing curls,enamel eyes,tinted brows,closed
mouth with enigmatic smile,blushed cheeks,hemp-wrapped
body,earthenware hands and lower legs with expressive fingers and
defined toes. Condition: very good,costume worn,baby finger missing.
Comments: Neopolitan,early 1800s. Value Points: very fine detail of
hair sculpting. Ex-collection Margaret Woodbury Strong,being sold to
benefit the Strong's collection funds.
