11" (28 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head with pink-tinted
complexion,black sculpted hair in graduated-length finger
curls,oval face,blue painted eyes,single-stroke brows,closed mouth
with center line,wooden torso with shapely waist,dowel jointed
wooden upper arms and legs,dowel jointed porcelain lower arms and
legs with painted orange flat shoes,right hand folded in fist.
Condition: generally excellent,possible repair to one porcelain
dowel. Comments: Germany,circa 1840. Value Points: very rare doll
with fine sculpting and painting,fine wooden body.
