Description
10" (25 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with oval-shaped face and
strong throat,black sculpted hair waved smoothly below the ears
and drawn into a coiled chignon at the back of the head,fully
sculpted ears,tiny painted blue eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,aquiline nose with tiny accented nostrils,closed
mouth,slender kid body with wooden lower arms and legs,nicely
costumed. Condition: porcelain excellent,kid body very worn.
Comments: Germany,circa 1850,with sculpted hairstyle in the manner
made popular by the young Queen Victoria. Value Points: rare model
with exquisite sculpting.
