12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes
and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with
accent lines,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French
kid poupee body with tiny waist,shapely arms and legs,stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
French,circa 1870,attributed to Gaultier. Value Points: petite
poupee is perfectly preserved,with very sturdy fresh body,wearing
multi-layered original folklore costume of Normandy including
coiffe,jewelry and wooden shoes.
