14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,small almond-shaped
brown glass inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked
and multi-feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth with defined space between the accented lips,brunette mohair
wig,early composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body
with straight wrists and shorter toddler-like proportions.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 46 7. Comments: mystery
maker,circa 1882. Value Points: very expressive features achieved
by broader nose and tiny mouth,rare and original body,lovely
antique costume.
