Description
5" (13 cm.) teapot. 14" x 11" case. Within a leather-covered wooden
box with green silk padded lining is presented a French porcelain
tea service,likely designed for a child,yet perfect for display with
larger bebes or poupees. The service,with cream background,has
Sevres cobalt blue borders accented with gilt and decorated with
five different courtly scenes in the late 18th century manner.
Pristine condition. With original label from the prestigious
Parisian toy shop,Au Paradis des Enfants. Circa 1890.
