20" (51 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,almond-shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,blonde
mohair wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed poupee
body,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: Gaultier,circa 1875. Value Points:
lovely pale bisque enhanced by rich painting of features,wearing
very beautiful antique taffeta ecru gown with lace trim,enhanced
by opalescent pearls designed as orange
blossoms,undergarments,leather shoes.
