plate,small blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,feathered arched brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into
head,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body
with gusset-jointing,stitched and separated fingers. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: F,4 G,(shoulder plate) Passage

Gaultier,circa 1867,presented by the luxury doll shop of Francois
Simonne,whose wife oversaw the superb trousseau which appeared on
their dolls. Value Points: the all-original doll with very sturdy
body wears original blue silk walking gown with demi-train,with
undergarments,shoes,bonnet with original paper label,chatelaine
with watch.
