7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on matching bisque
chubby torso,loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in short toddler
shape,sculpted short brown curly hair with forelock curl,tiny blue
glass sleep eyes,painted lashes,tinted brows,accented
nostrils,open mouth,accented lips,porcelain lower teeth,painted
white socks and blue one-strap shoes,blue silk costume. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 17 (neck,arms,and legs) 897 (neck).
Comments: Bonnie Babe,designed by American artist Georgene
Averill,made in Germany,circa 1920. Value Points: excellent detail
of sculpting especially of hair and facial features,very fine
quality of bisque and painting.
