18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with very deeply sculpted facial
features,dark blue painted eyes with deeply-set sockets,thick
upper eyeliner,one-stroke tapered brows,accented nostrils of
rounded nose,closed mouth with richly-glazed lips,brunette mohair
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: K*R 101 46. Condition: Kammer and
Reinhardt,circa 1910,from their art character series,the model was
marketed as "Marie". Value Points: especially fine quality of
sculpting,original body and body finish,beautiful antique costume
includes cut-work dress,undergarments,socks,shoes,ruffled lace
bonnet,and leather handbag with incised "Lucy 1924".
