23" (58 cm.) Bisque shoulder head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades,large and very deep
blue glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,dark painted
curly lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,widely-arched brush-stroked
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with defined
space between the shaded and outlined lips,impressed chin
dimple,pierced ears,brunette human hair over cork pate,French kid
bebe body with Chevrot hinged hips,wooden lower arms and
legs,pretty lace dress. Condition: bisque is excellent,body is
original albeit kid is darkened,kid worn on upper arms. Marks: Bru
JneR 11 (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Bru,circa 1892. Value
Points: especially deep gorgeous paperweight eyes and beautiful
modeling with deeply-defined features,subtle painting,original
body,and with original shoes signed "Bru Jne Paris".
