28" (71 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump facial
features,large brown glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,rose blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and
feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth
with shaded and outlined lips,pierced ears,brunette human hair wig
over Steiner pate,Steiner composition fully-jointed body with
straight wrists,antique costume including mohair plush coat with
blue edging (matching smaller sister in #214). Condition:
generally excellent,small flake on upper right eye rim. Marks: Sie
C 6 (head) Au Nain Bleu E. Chauviere...(original paper label on
torso). Comments: Jules Steiner,circa 1882. Value Points: an
especially beautiful model with plump face,softly-blushed
complexion,hazel-brown paperweight eyes,and original signed body
in original condition.
