19" (48 cm.) One-piece carved wooden head and shapely torso,oval-
shaped face with defined eye sockets,enamel eyes,painted
features,closed mouth with firm expression,aquiline nose,original
hemp blonde wig in very elaborate coiffe with intertwined
beading,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees.
Condition: very good,some early repainting. Comments:
Continental,late 18th century. Value Points: the regal lady wears
original silk and brocade velvet coat with silk metallic
threads,fine decorated wig and bejeweled hat and necklace. Ex-
