10" (25 cm.) Each has paper-mache head with painted complexion and
expressive facial features,painted hair or cap with applied
decorations,wooden block torso,loosely-jointed limbs with elongated
fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Early 20th
century,the figures depicts particular characters from Chinese
traditional operas. Value Points: exceptional detail of original
silk costumes with embroidered flowers,trim,and symbols,and
elaborate headdresses.
