1925,Century Doll Co,the New York doll firm created a line of
composition dolls and also offered bisque head dolls commissioned
by them from Germany. Kestner is known as their supplier of
heads, according to existing doll literature, and thus to find an
example with the Simon and Halbig marking (the competitor of
Kestner) is a discovery. Value Points: most pleasing expression
and quality,in fine unplayed with condition, wearing factory-
original costume.
