Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece all-bisque Kewpie standing on bisque base, alongside a tree-shaped vase in the Art Nouveau manner, with sculpted wide-brimmed sunhat, his right arm held out with clenched fist, side-glancing eyes, blue wings. With original paper label on back torso, and stamped C in circle on base. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, from original designs by Rose O'Neill.
