18" (46 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with delicate pale
complexion contrasting with softly blushed plump cheeks and
chin,almond-shaped brown glass paperweight eyes,dark
eyeliner,lightly-painted lashes,feathered brows,accented eye
corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between
the shaded and accented lips,pierced ears,original hand-stitched
blonde mohair wig over cork pate,all-wooden fully-articulated body
with dowel and pin jointing at shoulders,elbows,wrists,hips,knees
and ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (head) N3C-34
(impressed symbols on back torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,his
earliest version of the rare Bebe Modele presented in 1879. Value
Points: extremely rare bebe with exceptional quality of
bisque,sculpting and painting,superb original body with original
finish,original wig,and wearing antique undergarments embroidered
"Germaine",white pique dress with extended capelet
