17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass sleep eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils,open
mouth,outlined lips,two porcelain upper teeth,blonde mohair
wig,composition body with clockwork mechanism in torso,one piece
composition arms and legs,antique costume. When keywound,the doll
"walks". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1299 Simon &
Halbig S&H 8 (doll) R.D. (key). Comments: Simon and Halbig with
walking mechanism by Roullet et Decamps,circa 1910. Value Points:
pretty model with characteristic impressed dimples at lip corners
of small mouth,dimpled chin and philtrum.
