16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head,brown glass sleep
eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth
with laughing expression,modeled tongue and two beaded lower
teeth,outlined shaded lips,impressed dimples in cheeks and lip
corners,brunette mohair wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed
body. Condition: generally excellent,some body retouch. Marks:
5636 6 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine detail of
sculpted dimples and laughter lines,fine quality of
bisque,wonderful antique costume.
