Porcelain shoulder head with plump face,painted blue upper-glancing eyes,thick black upper eyeliner,delicately-painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,un-pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,Rohmer kid body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees,porcelain lower arms with delicately-tinted nails,grommet-edged torso holes with silk ribbons for attaching to knees to form a seated pose,wooden knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mme Rohmer (green stamp) Brevete SGDG. Comments: Rohmer,circa 1860. Value Points: most endearing petite size,rare original body with deposed Rohmer seating system,early silk costume,undergarments,leather boots,and with original linen-over-wooden trunk containing four additional costumes,two bonnets (one signed Huret),bone-handled parasol,opera glass,additional undergarments,paisley shawl in leather straps,velvet jacket,and another pair of leather slippers.
