blue glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted
curly lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and feathered
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with
shaded outlined lips,dimpled chin,separately-modeled pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists,wearing
lovely rose silk satin antique costume with lace
collar,undergarments,rose frou-frou bonnet,stockings,leather shoes
signed E.J. Depose. Condition: generally excellent,original body
and body finish. Marks: 11x (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris
(body). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1880,the early model is
considered a luxury portrait bebe. Value Points: very rare early
model with exquisite bisque and complexion,very deep eyes with
dramatic painting,original plump body and body finish,signed
Jumeau shoes.
