Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with slender oval face and elongated throat,brown sculpted hair with braided wreath at the forehead decorated with a single Dresden rose and gilt- edged leaves,and forming into elaborate looped braids and curls at the sides and back,pierced ears,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,magenta-painted bodice with sculpted Dresden ruffled ribbon edging in gilt-edged blue,antique muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn-on green kidskin boots,leather arms,magenta taffeta gown,undergarments. Condition: small chips on three leaves at crown,otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1870.
