Description
21" (53 cm.) Sculpted shoulder head with long brown comb-marked hair
with flowing curls,enamel inset eyes in well-defined sockets,painted
facial features,closed mouth with tiny painted teeth,help-wrapped
body with carved lower arms and legs,expressive fingers and well-
defined toes. Condition: generally excellent,touch-up on nose tip.
Comments: Neopolitan,early 19th century. Value Points: superb
sculpting of facial features and hair,wearing original silk costume
with gilt metallic thread embroidery.
