18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted blue eyes with glazed
highlights,thick black upper eyeliner,one-stroke tapered
brows,closed mouth with very full shaded lips,blonde mohair
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: K*R 101 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa
1909,from their art character doll reform series,the model
marketed as "Marie". Value Points: especially fine detail of
modeling with well-defined facial features,fine quality of bisque
and painting,original body and body finish,beautiful antique
costume.
