13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,blue glass inset
eyes,painted brown curly lashes,incised eyeliner,one stroke
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth with small hole
at center for bottle,shaded lips,blonde mohair wig,cut in bisque
pate to allow access to head interior,composition bent limb baby
body with rubber ball at back torso to create suction for baby
bottle,antique costume with richly-embroidered bib. Condition:
generally excellent,hands retouched,rubber ball hardened. Marks:
SFBJ 242 Paris. Comments: SFBJ. circa 1912. Value Points: very
rare model from the 200 series,with fine quality of bisque and
painting.
