17" (43 cm.) Leather doll with socket head,firmly-pressed oil-
painted face,complexion and facial features,painted blue eyes in
defined sockets with dark outline,inserted lashes,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,upswept blonde
human hair,oil-painted cloth body with stitched-on arms and
legs,hand-stitched separated fingers and toes,stitch-definition of
dimples in elbows and knees,original undergarments,dress included.
Condition: generally excellent,little touch-up on tip of nose.
Comments: mystery doll,with unusual construction details,late 19th
century.
