32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated facial
modeling,blue glass sleep eyes,dark painted lashes,brush-stroked
and feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,open
mouth,shaded and outlined lips,four porcelain teeth,brunette human
hair wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 370-15 K (in bell). Comments: Gebruder
Kling,circa 1890. Value Points: rare large child doll by this
firm,whose rarity is enhanced by beautiful expression,gorgeous
bisque with luminous patina,original body and body finish,lovely
antique costume; few models by Kling are known to exist in this
larger size.
