13" (33 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with oval face
and elongated throat with defined hollow,modeled bosom,sculpted
light brown hair with Apollo knot at crown and arranged side curls
held by a gilt-edged aqua hair band,painted blue down-glancing
eyes,black and red upper eyeliner,feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body,porcelain lower
arms with expressively-posed separated fingers,antique silk
costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Dressel and
Kister,circa 1900. Value Points: elegant demeanor enhanced by
superb sculpting and painting of hair and features.
