10" (25 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head,large brown glass inset
eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and feathered brows,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced
ears,blonde lambswool wig over cork pate,French composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists,antique
costume. Condition: faint hairline from crown rim down the right
outer edge of face. Comments: 1/EJ. Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa
1880,the earliest version of his bebe EJ. Value Points: most
endearing expression and lovely bisque on the early bebe in petite
size,original body and body finish.
