17" (43 cm.) x 15" framed. Within gilded wooden frames are arranged a pair of needlework samples on original cards with gold embossed edging, labeled "Broderie applique" and "Jours sur mousseline" on original gilt lettered cards which accompany each. Excellent condition. French, mid-1800s.
