Description
29" (74 cm.) x 23". The early hand-tinted engraving depicts Mother
Goose (who is actually a young girl),holding 15 dolls which are
tightly clustered to her. The dolls are all wearing original period
costuming and show kid or wooden bodies. The engraving is labeled
Mother Goose,printed by Sala of Berlin,and has original wooden
frame. Excellent condition,and very rare. Circa 1860.
