18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and painted facial
features and complexion,shaded blue eyes,red upper eyeliner,closed
mouth with very full lips,brunette bobbed wig,stitch-jointing at
shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Kamkins,A dolly made to Love,Patented - Trademark Re. (stamp on
back of head and torso). Comments: Kamkins,the doll was created in
an Atlantic City art studio,and sold on the boardwalk in Atlantic
City,circa 1930. Value Points: fine original condition,the little
doll wears original lavender boucle wool suit comprising
shorts,jacket,and brimmed cap,with pink linen shirt,socks,and
leather sandals.
