22" (56 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head, blue glass spiral-threaded paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, delicately-painted lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with daintily-shaded and outlined lips, impressed dimples at lip corners, philtrum and chin, pierced ears, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with very plump limbs, straight wrists, lovely silk and lace dress, undergarments, leatherette shoes, stockings and mother-of-pearl brooch "Clara". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1897. Value Points: very early period bebe that is rarely found has flawless bisque with delicate complexion, original body with fine original finish.
