Description
8" (20 cm.) and 9". Each is all-wooden figure depicting the
characters from the early 20th century comic strip created by Billy
DeBeck in 1919; Barney Google with painted googly eyes,long
nose,attached wooden top hat,painted bow tie,and original costume of
black and white checked pants,black jacket; and Spark Plug horse
with original yellow felt flannel labeled blanket,painted harness
and leather ears. Generally excellent,Barney missing one ear. Made
by Schoenhut,circa 1920.
