Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,narrow blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with upturned lip corners in smiling expression,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with square cut collarette,kid gusset-jointed body,wooden arms with articulation at shoulders,elbows,and wrists. Condition: generally excellent,original finish on arms albeit some rubs on finish. Marks: E. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1872. Value Points: very beautiful example with gentle smile,original Bru body with rare wooden arms,wearing lovely ensemble of paisley gown with matching jacket,undergarments,velvet bonnet with feather,bone- handled parasol,undergarments,leather boots,and watch on chain.
