16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with well-defined
chubby cheeks and double chin,light brown painted hair in short
boyish fashion,sculpted facial features,tiniest squinting beaded
eyes,black upper eyeliner,one-stroke brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,closed mouth modeled as though open in a wide
grimacing expression,shaded lips,kid body with pin jointing,bisque
lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7761 Heubach
(in square). Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910,the
model is affectionately known as "Spinach Boy" by collectors in
reference to his expression. Value Points: rare model with most
realistic and delightful expression of dismay,wearing antique felt
regimental jacket,wool pants,undergarments,stockings,shoes.
