Description
8" (20 cm.) largest. Each is all bisque with classic Kewpie
features of side-glancing googly eyes,dash brows,blue
wings,topknot and forelock curls,slight impish smile,and includes
large standing Kewpie with jointed arms (incised Kewpie on
feet),smaller standing Kewpie with red heart paper label,seated
Kewpie with arms outstretched and with red heart paper
label,Kewpie Traveler,Kewpie with folded arms seated on wicker
chair,Kewpie Farmer with sun hat,small Kewpie with arms
outstretched and wearing black helmet,and standing Kewpie with
jointed arms wearing original crepe paper coat. Excellent
condition. Germany,circa 1915,from original designs by Rose
O'Neill.
