32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head,brown glass sleep eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,modeled brows with brush-stroked
painting,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,shaded and
outlined lips,four porcelain teeth,blonde mohair wig over plaster
pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: M 1/2 made in Germany 16 1.2 (head)
Excelsior Germany 7 (body). Comments: Kestner,circa 1900. Value
Points: very beautiful bisque with gleaming patina,original wig
with soft ringlet curls,original body and body finish,lovely
antique multi-layered costume.
