32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated facial
modeling,blue glass inset eyes with rich spiral threading,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,open mouth,shaded and accented lips,four porcelain
teeth,pierced ears,blonde human hair wig,early composition and
wooden ball-jointed body,pretty antique costume. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: SH 17 949. Comments: Simon and
Halbig,circa 1890. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and
modeling enhanced by fine painting of features and beautiful eyes.
