Description
21" (53 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features,brown side-glancing eyes,dark eyeliner,painted upper
brown curly lashes,grey eye shadow,tiny nose with accented
nostrils,closed rosebud-shaped mouth with accent dots on bottom
lip,blonde mohair wig in side-coiled braids,jointing at shoulders
and hips,mitten hands with separate thumb. Condition: very
good,some light costume fading,spot on left hand. Marks: Lenci
(early brown paper label on hip). Comments: Lenci,circa 1925,an
early example of the 109 model. Value Points: rare doll with
original felt costume having elaborate detail of
embroidery,original undergarments,socks,shoes,and felt wide-
brimmed bonnet with applique flowers.
