23" (58 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features,very round chubby-cheeked face,large blue side-glancing
eyes in well-defined eye sockets,side curly lashes,grey eye
shadow,rounded nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth,blonde
mohair side-parted wig,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition:
very good,some wear to body under costume. Comments: Lenci,the
model appeared in the 1928 Lenci catalog as #563. Value Points:
the early doll with wonderfully expressive face is wearing
original turquoise-blue felt bellhop costume with black felt
striping and buttons,matching cap,white felt spats,black shoes,and
carries a bouquet of felt flowers.
