15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,rose blushed eye shadow,brush- stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig,early composition and wooden six-loose ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent,very faint hairline at far left cheek. Marks: 136 10. Comments: Sonneberg,circa 1882,the model resembles early period Jumeau bebe. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed child with fine quality of bisque,has original early body,beautiful antique costume.
