with gofum finish,painted light grey hair under original black
bobbed human hair wig,sculpted large ears,almond-shaped enamel
inset eyes,feathered brows,tiny closed mouth with accented
lips,muslin body with paper-wrapped upper torso,crier,paper mache
lower torso and lower arms and legs. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: (maker's stamp on torso). Comments:
Japanese,late 19th century play doll known as Ichimatsu. Value
Points: wonderful characterized face with great
expression,original signed body,original multi-layered costume.
