Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair looped at the sides of face and around the sculpted ears,forming into a chignon at the back of head,oval face with painted features,brown eyes with red and black upper eyeliner,single-stroke brows,aquiline nose,closed mouth with dainty smile,original wooden body with shapely torso,dowel- articulation at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,porcelain lower arms and legs,right hand clasped to hold an object,red flat painted shoes,frail antique costume included. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1850. Value Points: fine early porcelain model with excellent detail of painting and rare body.
