39" (99 cm.) Bisque mannequin head with oval-shaped face,well
defined facial features,blue glass inset eyes,delicately painted
lashes and brows,eyeliner,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth with center accent line,brunette mohair wig,on mannequin
body with wooden articulated arms,wearing lovely antique costume.
Condition: professional overpaint on complexion although original
painting retained on facial features,wooden arms repainted. Marks:
P. Imans Paris (body). Comments: circa 1915,mystery maker of the
portrait head,probably Simon and Halbig,on French Imans mannequin
body. Value Points: exceptionally beautiful model with serene and
rare expression.
