18" (46 cm.) l. The paper mache bulldog has flocked cream and black
finish,black ears,brown glass eyes,ruff and leather collar,and a
"nodding" head attachment which causes his head to move when pulled
along on tiny hidden wheels under his legs,and having hinged jaw
which opens when the chain leash is pulled to reveal ferocious
teeth,and which causes the bulldog to growl. French,late 19th
century.
