Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, neck articulation allowing the head to tilt forward and side-to-side as well as standard swivel, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, ears pierced into head, kid shapely poupee body, bisque lower arms and hands, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1867, the unique neck articulation was deposed by Dehors in that year. Value Points: the petite poupee has very beautiful bisque with delicate complexion, brilliant eyes, very sturdy body, bisque hands and Dehors articulation.
