12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulder head,blue glass paperweight inset
eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with accented lips,blonde mohair wig over
cork pate,attached to carton ball which contains music box,and
carved bone handle with whistle tip. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: F.G. (in scroll). Comments: for the luxury
Parisian trade,circa 1885 with Gaultier head; when twirled
around,music plays. Value Points: pristine original condition of
the festive marotte with rose satin,Alencon lace,and gilt metallic
edging and bells.
